The mission of Kinsley, Me and Company is to support women and children before, during and after pregnancy. Under our main initiative, Kinsley Kares, we provide community services such as :

- community events 

-parenting classes, monthly parenting classes in which participants will receive essential baby items

-ongoing post-partum support through our Mothers and Babies support group. 

-motivational speaking

The origin of Kinsley, Me and Company. began on May 1st 2020 with a website launch in which our Founder Taleeka decided to blog on her journey through motherhood. It then expanded into an idea to provide a community event, sponsored by Alamance-Guilford Section of NCNW held at the Charlotte Hawkins-Brown museum on September 19th, 2020.  Since 2020 we have:

-hosted 3 community baby shower events

-1 parenting class

-nominated for ABC45 Pay It Forward campaign

-featured in Busta Brown People of the week news

-nominated for the Journey community awards hosted by Kellin Foundation

-donated over 30 bags to local maternity homes

-provided rental assistance to mothers

-launced our first doula fund in 2022

We haven't stopped growing yet! Coming up on our third year, Kinsley, Me and Company hopes to continue impacting lives of women and children in the community through encouragement, advocacy, and the on-going fight for adequate maternal health. Our ultimate goal is to turn KMAC into a pregnancy center in Greensboro.
