When I was younger, my Mom used to read this book all the time called Purpose Driven Life. She used to carry it around with her everywhere and the title always stuck out to me, but I could never figure out what it was about. It wasn't until I really started my spiritual walk with God, to realize that this is all part of his plan, and that book was more symbolic that I could understand at that time.
I'm still learning what it truly means to be purposeful, to be intentional, applying it to my daily life. It doesn't mean to be intentional in one area, but not the other. Consistency and discipline is hard for those that know they need to change, but refuse to. I, am one of those people.
For me, I know that I cannot reach my full potential and everything God has for me if I refuse to change what I can control. It's taking me some time to peel away from toxicity things/people, but I'm proud of myself for setting boundaries in many area that are leading to open doors and windows of opportunity. I've been encouraging myself and believing in myself more, becoming my own biggest cheerleader. Granted, I do have my days and I am learning that it is normal. I am learning to train my mind to see the good things God has in store for my life, as well as to trust the process.
Everything I had went through and overcame was all part of his plan. Every life experience, interaction with people, people who entered my life for seasons, it was intentional. He is moving me to a higher rock. He is speaking on my behalf in rooms where I'm not present at. He is creating a new thing in me. God is trying to show me all that he has for me, if I keep my eyes on him. His purpose for our life is far more than we can imagine. We are made in His image. Continue to lean on Him, he has a plan for you !!
